To support collaborative creativity of artists and art organizations by encouraging creativity and collaboration of all forms of art and by providing facilities, equipment and programs to facilitate such endeavors.
To bring together artists and art organizations in sharing their works of art to stimulate more creativity.

To provide programs and events that showcase the resultant artwork of individual and collaborative creativity.

To provide educational programs and events that encourage creativity for all levels of artistry – beginners, amateurs and professionals.

To encourage local artists by providing programs targeted primarily to local artists.

To engage artists who are not local to share their approaches, techniques and artwork to stimulate the creativity of local artists.

To engage artist who are not local to present their artwork in order to elevate the reputation of San Luis Obispo County as mecca for creativity.
